Seed of David Creative Artists, LLC (SODCA), located in the Dallas Metroplex, is a diversified boutique entertainment company focused on developing sustainable careers of top emerging artists across music, film, dance, theater, and television; leveraging their presence across multiple platforms and commerce in the U.S. and worldwide.

The vision of Seed of David Creative Artists is to be recognized as a reputable entertainment company that has a proven track record of success with the advancement of cultural diversity in the Performing Arts and is a global platform for artists, performers and creators of color to exhibit their talents in music, dance, theatre, film, and television; and monetize their efforts in the global marketplace.

What’s in name?
- The name “Seed of David Creative Artists” was created because of its symbolism, distinctiveness, and originality. David was a great king in the Bible, who was the ultimate psalmist, songwriter and musician of his day. He was a shepherd who tended sheep. He was, at first sight, an underdog; someone who didn’t look like a King-to-be but was a man after God’s own heart. David was courageous and killed a man who was bigger and stronger than he with only a single stone. He accomplished what others could not do and with limited resources. He wasn’t the biggest man but had all the makings of being the best King that the children of Israel ever had.
- The Law of the Name suggests that the uniqueness of the company name must survive in the long run, because after the uniqueness of the company name is no longer present, it must survive the competition.
- The word “seed” in this sense means the starting point or beginning. This is the strength in the company name because Seed of David Creative Artists, LLC is a diversified and multi-cultural entertainment company that offers “grassroots” services for independent and emerging artists. Seed of David Creative Artists, LLC is protectable. The company is categorized as an arbitrary brand because of the use of the real word “seed” in an unfamiliar context.
Our Brand SOD
- The Seed of David Creative Artists, LLC tagline is: Excellence is the only option! Our goal is to create a visual representation of our company values of integrity, excellence, and empowerment, through the usage of colors, shapes, and symbolism. The eighth notes symbolize the “seeds.” The leaves symbolize “growth” and represent the other areas of our company that include film, theatre, and dance.
- Symbolic:The purple leaves and black eighth note seeds symbolize seed time and harvest. Every creative concept starts with a seed. Nurturing, discipline and consistency, the seed will grow, and the reward is the finished product.
- Color:The Law of Color suggests that the color purple represents royalty. The biblical representation of the color gold is brilliance & splendor (http://www.biblebasics.co.uk/colours/col9.htm)
- Shape:The Law of Shape suggests that body of the logo is horizontal conceptually an object that is visible by both eyes. The idea is to maintain a horizontal plane with the text yet creating a focal point with the leaves and the vertical notes that signify growth, that will draw the viewer to the center of the logo.
